Great West Way® Travel Trade Marketplace

We would like to invite you to attend the Great West Way Travel Trade Marketplace event which is being run as a hybrid event, taking place 16 – 20 November. It is suitable for B2B international and domestic tour operators and wholesalers who are interested in packaging and selling Great West Way programmes.

You will meet suppliers which will include destinations, DMO’s, attractions and activity providers, refreshment and accommodation providers, tour guides and other tourism related suppliers along the route.

We recommend that buyers attend the whole event and have included a travel day on Thursday 17 November, so buyers from further afield can attend in person if they wish.

The Networking Day and Discovery Visits are offered free of charge*, so buyers can experience the Great West Way for themselves, familiarising them with supplier product along the route. Hosted visits include travel to and from London, two nights’ dinner, bed & breakfast and lunches.

Great West Way® Travel Trade Marketplace 2022 is a hybrid event with a virtual meeting day on Wednesday 16 November, a networking day, hosted by Ascot racecourse on Friday 18 November and a series of Discovery Visits for buyers taking place over the weekend on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November.

This event will bring together tour operators and wholesalers with products and services that feature on the route, including attractions, hotels, transport, ground handlers and other sectors of the route’s tourism infrastructure.

The aim of the event is to enable supplier products to meet with buyers who are interested in contracting products and selling them to their customers. Buyers will choose from a range of Discovery Visits so they can experience the Great West Way for themselves, with a view to package and sell the route in future itineraries.

This day gives any international tour operators the opportunity to travel to the UK for the Networking day and Discovery visits.
