Pole Position for The Day of Coach Tourism – Tag der Bustouristik
The travel industry kicks off 2025 with the 42nd “Day of Coach Tourism” on 13th January 25 in the port city of Bremerhaven. This will once again take place as the launch event for coach tourism of the 2025 season.
On 13th January 2025, coach tourism professionals, their business partners and organisations and decision-makers affected by the conference topic will meet in Bremerhaven to exchange experiences on controversial issues.
A popular get-together takes place on the evening before the industry event, with plenty of networking opportunities. The conference location is Bremerhaven. Host “Erlebnis Bremerhaven Gesellschaft für Touristik, Marketing und Veranstaltungs mbH” is already developing a programme of exciting locations for knowledge sharing between professionals on Monday, January 13, 2025 with a familiarisation program on Sunday, including the get-together.

The audience of the “Coach Tourism Day” are coach and group tour operators and their travel agency and sales partners as well as the value chain: destinations, events, hotels, attractions, wholesalers, complementary modes of transport, tour guides and everyone involved in a coach trip.
This includes consumer organisations from clubs, senior citizens and youth sectors as well as policy makers, stakeholders and academics who are concerned with tourism, transport and the environment. Finally, of course, also the media.
The patrons are ETOA European Tourism Association and BUSWORLD.
The USP of the “Day of Coach Tourism” is that advocates of the conference topic present the opportunities, background and challenges to the theme and that they don’t avoid controversies. For over 40 years, this has become a platform for topical and often divisive topics in coach and group tourism: expert-led statements and panel discussions.
Once again there are no conference fees for trade visitors.
Mr. Gauf is already preparing the hot topics for “topic-theses-interjections”, the industry forum.
