ETOA’s first conference & B2B marketplace for the Italian market: VIVA

VIVA 2020 combines a short conference on tourism strategy in Italy with a highly efficient B2B workshop with an agenda of pre-scheduled appointments

ETOA is hosting its first Conference and B2B Marketplace dedicated to Italy with tourism suppliers keen to access a global market in contracting season, on Tuesday, 18 February 2020 in the Crowne Plaza Rome.

The conference between 0900 and 1030 will feature five high-profile speakers who will discuss national and regional tourism strategies for all the major regions in Italy.

On. Lorenza Bonaccorsi, Under-Secretary for Cultural Heritage and Tourism: Since 2014, Ms Bonaccorsi has been part of the IX Commission “Transport and Telecommunications” which oversees Italian national public broadcasting.

Maria Elena Rossi, Director of Marketing and Promotion for ENIT has been the General Manager of the Italian National Tourist Board since April 2018.

Francesco Palumbo, Director of Toscana Promozione has recently been appointed. He has previously worked in the private and public sectors of the tourism and culture industry, Before his current role, Francesco was the general manager of the Mibact Tourism Directorate where he drafted the 2020 Tourism Strategy Plan for Italy.

Mirta Valentini, Board Member of Trentino Marketing, has over twenty years’ experience in Italian regional marketing.

Luca Scandale, Director of Strategy for Puglia Promozione is now acting as the representative of Puglia Promozione, an agency that deals with the development of tourism in the area.
