Collaboration on climate action and other topics is a precondition for the long-term value of the tourism sector. Recognising the problems, sharing good practice will accelerate progress. We also need an enabling framework of smart regulation, funding and practical support from online resources to training and mentoring.
Much of this is available now, and between us we have wide experience of what works and where the opportunities and obstacles are. ETOA’s membership community of professionals who support positive change through policy, strategy, innovation and action is growing. Their insight will support better tourism in Europe.

Help structure ETOA’s climate action support page
To support our members in adopting more sustainable practice and producing climate action plans (CAPs), ETOA is creating the first edition of its Climate Action Support page – tailored to ETOA members who are new to climate action, or have tried to start but need further assistance. We welcome any member input to ensure the page meets the needs of our community.

To increase access to sustainable practice within our community and help you connect with other members based on your sustainability efforts, from 2025, ETOA’s Member Search will feature a new filter allowing you to search for members who have been awarded with third party sustainability certification or accreditation.
