Taxe Touristique / Toeristenbelasting

The tourist tax (taxe touristique or toeristenbelasting) also known as city tax (stadsbelastingen) is decided by local governments (municipalities) using the flat rate per person or room, per night.

Antwerp – Remain at €2.80 per person, per night (excl. VAT) until 1 January 2025
Bruges
– Remain at €2.83 per person, per night (excl. VAT) until 1 January 2026.
Ghent – Remain at €2.83 per person, per night (excl. VAT) until 1 January 2025.
Kortrijk – Remain at €1.75 per person, per night (excl. VAT) until 1 January 2025.
Ostend – Remain at €2.83 per person, per night (excl. VAT) until 1 January 2025.
